The run you are talking about is:
E/A - Wastes
E/A - Pools
E/A - Mountains
E/A - Plains
A/D - Pits
A/D - Vale
Mo/X - UA/buff bot + healer
A/Me - CHamber Perma
This run is much much faster than the necroway run which most pugs run. The run is different tho, as the A/Me perma has to do a LOT of work compared to normally. It also requires coordination between members, particularly when doing Escort and 4H...but yea..13-15 mins is average for this run.

Yes, i have ran this build alot with the teams i have played with. We even had some 13 mins with it!
This is a short guide how to do this split :
Order:
5 E/A's , Mountain, Pools, Wastes, Pits, Plains
1 A/Me, Perma
1 A/D, Owpk4Jf6ImyEPiOz3H3nM4io+DuD - This build has ALOT of variants, i think we have found most of them, but i wont give them to you, try to find some stuff out yourself
1 Mo/E OwYT02nCV6joBcjYl4uCZYVkhAA - If you want to be faster, replace patient spirit with strenght of honor.
Lets go!
A/ME : When you spawn, put up the conset and let someone take the quest for you, pull all grasping and tank them YOURSELF, this is not a spike team so dont put them at the place you usually do with the necroway. Once this is done, go to the chamber where the reaper spawns, pull everything here, make sure you take the beasts from the left corridor too, otherwise the monk can't pass. Tank the beasts in the center corridor. Make sure you hit the terrorwebs too with your spells. Kill everything. Once done let the monk know when it's safe to take unwanted + escort. Go to the right corridor and pop the minds that spawn at the entrance to vale, kill everything ( the monk helps you with heal party's )
Now go into vale. Kill all grasps, kill the coldfire patrol and pop the reaper. Your job is finished now!
A/D : Go with the other 4 terra's and hold the beasts for them. Now go to the place where the keeper of souls spawns at the bridge, wait here for the monk to take the unwanted quest. Kill every keeper and once in the center corridor of the place where the reaper spawns, let the monk UA you into the right corridor. ( You can run there too, but it is alot riskier. If can't do it the ua way because the monk is already in vale. Make sure you walk against the wall, so the beasts won't aggro the reaper. )
Now just wait until the a/me is done. Put off your superior runes and if you have put on your +health armor. Once the a/me takes the quest, kill the souls. at every group try to group them like you hit them ALL with your scythe, it makes the run alot faster.
Mo/E : At spawn, let some1 pull away the aatxes that are in the way of you. Walk up the right stairs, and go to the chamber in front of the left corridor that leads to the reaper. Wait here until the a/me has pulled the beasts away that are in front of you, go the the place where the reaper spawns, wait until it has spawned and take restoring. Once the sins says it's safe to take unwanted+escort take both. Bring the souls up the stairs where the chest spawns, hold them here once the sin pulled all stuff and is tanking them walk to him until his party thingy ( not sure how to say this ) turns white, you can now heal party him. Just keep is health 100% with heal party. Just wait until he says you can pass. Once in vale, walk like the black stripe on this screen:
Now wait until the a/me takes the quest, heal the sin and great dwarf weapon him. But more important, make sure at least 1 soul stays alive, so just watch 1 spirit and keep his health 100% once the first group is killed and you've still got a soul alive, your safe, just GDW the sin and protect/heal them. Easy enough.
The terra's just do there job. The pools + plains sin should do 4h.
Dae

Here's the Vale Terra build you're talking about (which I created )
http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10324481
While it does work solo, TWO terras running this same build would really rock - since both terras could clear for the reaper - and then on the quest, each could simultaneously tank a group of 3 tortured spirits. We've tested this out and it works great

Hmm k , i thought mayb you ment that build, about that e/a way. Tbh, its a bit slow .. So if you really want speed, i'd suggest my build, about the UA question, because you can ress the sin really fast doing wrathful, AND it is very useful teleporting the sin to the right chamber without risks. Please first read my post, then ask questions.

Yes, an E/A soloing vale would be a bit 'slow' (i.e. you couldn't go for a record clear). However fyi, the first time we tried this in my guild with only 7/8 in party we did a 17 min clear (and this could have easily been quicker as we didn't do a whole lot of planning beforehand).
But as I mentioned above, two terras doing this build there would be pretty fast as they could both clear and do the quest simultaneously (i.e. each take out a group of 3 spirits at the same time).
Anywho, my reply was really in response to AztecHolyKnight's question about the solo E/A Vale build.
Bottom line though, fast clears can be done with several team splits - which is really good - because if UW ever went to 'SF or gtfo noob', then you can be sure that ANet would pull out the nerf-bat and change things so that SF wouldn't work nearly as well there as it does now...

I'm actually in the process of posting some YouTube videos soon on the run. I'll let you guys know when they're up .
I've also written a little mini-guide on my alliance's forum. It's not really detailed but it gives a basic rundown of the most common 4X E/A, A/N, A/Me, N/Me, N/Mo build to clear Underworld. I'm sorry if the guide has alot of formatting problems. There are alot of things to fix and GWGuru doesn't support colors: which I used to write my own comments to build on sections that I copied from PvXwiki.
Underworld Speed Clear
The team must carry 2 consets (Consumable sets; Grail of Might, Essence of Celerity, Armor of Salvation) throughout the whole run.
Skillbars:
http://gwshack.us/86af
Equipment:
Everyone except the necromancers need Enchantments last 20% longer on their profession specific weapon.
The assassins needs superior shadow arts runes. The A/N should have vampiric daggers or Damage +15% while enchanted. The A/Me should have and staff that reduces recharge of all spells. The E/A should have superior earth magic runes and an earth magic staff. Having a superior vigor rune and other minor runes are highly recommended.
Now for the loooong instructions I know it's difficult without pictures but the build is mainly about practice. I could've used PvXWiki more but that build is very outdated and has some minor statements that need to be clarified. Instead I'll repost some material from there and clarify if necessary. I suggest that everyone clear Underworld normally at least once so you have a general idea of all the areas and how to get there.
- Decide on roles and organize accordingly. Make sure you have at least 2 consumable sets ready for use.
- Load into UW and use consumables ONLY when everyone has loaded.
- The Assassins and Elementalists need to use Deadly Paradox followed by Shadow Form each time it is available.
- The Chambers Clearer (A/Me) takes the Clearing the Chamber quest from the Lost Soul.
- The Chambers Clearer (A/Me) goes up the right stairs and aggroes all the grasping darknesses and bladed aatxes and lures them into a ledge immediately to the right of the left stairs. Immediately start to kill them. Use channeling and spirit of failure for energy management. Use ether nightmare and
- The E/A's go up the left stairs and bodyblock the aatxes and graspings from behind.
- The Necromancers use their hexes to kill the bodyblocked enemies faster.
After killing the initial enemies
The Vale Clearer (A/N) goes to the left through the door and aggroes the bladed aatxes and grasping darknesses to the right side of the split path.
The Pools, Pits, and Mountain E/A's follow the A/N but stay out of his or her aggro and wait for the Charged Blackness past the Obsidian Behemoths to go back up.
NOTE - If the path up the mountain is blocked by Obsidian Behemoths, the Pools, Pits and Mountain clearers must kill them in order to make a path.
NOTES on travelling for the Pits, Pools and Mountains E/A's - Watch out for the Charged blackness as they can shock you through Shadow Form and knock you down. They can also use Whirlwind to damage you if you're adjacent). After you get past the initial obsidian behemoths take the right path to avoid the charged blackness that you waited for that headed back up and to the left as well.
Wastes Clearer:
* After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Wastes. ***(The right door... AKA The Smite Crawler Area)*** After popping the reaper ***(To pop the reaper means to kill the 3 terrorweb dryders around the statue. Note that the terrorwebs won't appear until the restoring grenth's monuments quest is not taken. Also, kill the smite crawlers before the coldfires.)***, make certain that the quest objective's spawning point ***(The area at the top of the big hill as well as the smite crawlers all the way on the top right)*** (The Ice King) is safe. ***(You can also do this before popping the reaper too)*** * Stand where the Terrorweb Dryders spawn ***(The huge intersection before the grenth statue)*** and recycle your Shadow Form, Wait 10 seconds then use Shadow of Haste.
* Run to the Reaper of the Icy Wastes and take quest right before you recycle Shadow Form again.
* Deadly Paradox will cancel your Shadow of Haste and shadow step you instantly back to where the Dryders have spawned.
* Kill all 18 dryders, the quest will erroneously update as complete after the first 2 groups of 6 have appeared.
* When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
Pools Clearer
* After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Pools. ***(Watch out for the many charged blackness in this area! Save your I Am Unstoppable for when you have to recycle Shadow form and use Dark Escape and feigned neutrality to reduce damage)***
* Before popping the reaper, make certain that the area around where he will appear is cleared of Terrorweb Dryders. ***(You will have to kill a group of charged blackness outside the statue)***
* Take quest The Terrorweb Queen, then make your way back to her spawning point and kill her.
* When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
Pits Clearer
* After the Permasin clears the chamber head to Pits.
* Before popping the reaper, make certain that the area around where he will appear is cleared of Bone Collectors and Bone Terrors.
* Make sure that all of the enemies are on the bottom are dead on the LEFT half of the bridge (the side closest the reaper) so that the Imprisoned Spirits don't die from the enemies. (some of the enemies on certain ledges you can keep alive)
* Chained Souls are OK to leave alive.
* Take quest Imprisoned Spirits, then make your way back past the Imprisoned Spirits that spawn to block the Terrorweb Dryders.
* Once the 3rd group of Dryders has appeared and come up on top the bridge, it is safe to exit the Bone Pits.
* If ONE of the Imprisoned Spirits dies, you will NOT fail this quest, but you cannot afford to lose more than one.
* When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
***NOTE - Killing the dead collectors first may make the minions masterless, and the dead threshers may be able to put suffering and hit you with feast of corruption on you even though you are in Shadow Form.
Mountain Clearer
* Head up the mountain after the permasin clears. (Watch for charged blackness!)
* Clear the obsidian behemoths around the reaper except the ones on the ledge immediately across from the reaper and be sure to wand them occasionally to prevent them from using healing spring. (Make sure you stay away from the traps [Stay in "nearby" range and not adjacent.)
* Use the obsidian behemoths that you kept alive to help kill off the dryders.
* Take the quest Demon Assassin and kill Slayer and his keepers of souls.
* When finished, head to The Chaos Plains to assist for The Four Horsemen quest.
Chamber Clearer
* Head to the main chamber using the middle stairs and clear the grasping darknesses and bladed aatxes there. (Leave the Terrorwebs for the A/N Vale Clearer to kill).
* Take restore grenth's monuments (No Escort of Souls)
* Wait until the necros and A/N tell you that it's ready to take Unwanted guests.
* After the Unwanted Guests quest is taken go around the area and kill off all the keeper of souls with the exception of the keeper of souls nearest the vale.
* After you're done, help with the vale and take the quest for Wrathful Spirits when the vale is clear and the Vale Clearer and necros are ready.
Vale Clearer and Necromancers
* Go up the right stairs and head to the main chamber.
* The A/N should kill all terrorweb dryders.
* The A/N and Spiteful spirit should clear the area to the vale. (Be sure not to lure aggro onto the Spiteful spirit and especially the N/Mo and souls)
* After the vale is clear, the A/N and necros should kill the terrorwebs and any coldfires near the statue (Kill the coldfires first)
* When ready, take the Wrathful Spirits quest and complete it. The A/N should tank the spirits, and the necros using Chilliblians when necessary.
* Walk back to the labryinth killing the terrorwebs and keep of souls along the way.
* The A/N should wait at the entrance to the vale while the N/Mo Feast Of Corruption takes the Escort of Souls quest when ready.
* The A/N grabs the pop-up mindblades at the entrance and aggroes the mindblades at the bottom of the steps and brings them to the right wall.
* The N/Mo Feast Of Corruption should grab the souls, stay way behind the A/N and Spiteful Spirit and occasionally walk from side to side to prevent the souls from running off and dying. (NOTE - If the souls die it's game over).
* The necros walk past the mindblades while the A/N has them aggroed against the wall and hands in the souls to the mayor.
* The necros return to kill off the mindblades.
Clearing the Plains for The Four Horsemen Quest
* All the E/A's should head to the plains when they're done with their specific role.
* The first one to arrive here should go all the way to the back where the statue is and clear everything in the middle between the two banished dream riders on either side. (There will be many popups as you kill the intial enemies so be careful - Be sure to kill the terrorwebs last)
* After the statue area is clear wait for another E/A to get to the plains and tell you that they're ready to take the Four horsemen quest.
* When they're ready take the quest and position yourself on the left side (intersection between Plains and Pools) or the right side (intersection between Plains and Pits) while the other elementalist gets the other side.
* Kill the horsemen bosses and your UW HM SC should be finished! Go back to the labyrinth to get your chest! 8) (It is not necessary to kill the terrorwebs after the boss horsemen are dead)

First : Nice guide! Especially for your alliance, but i wouldnt make this a guide on guru, why?
Quote:

If you have the right armor you dont need feigned AND dark escape, just only take dark escape, shock will hit +/- 40, with dark escape on 20, with iau on smth like 15. No need for feigned.
(You will have to kill a group of charged blackness outside the statue)
Nope, you don't have to kill them, they are unnecesary.
lol?? Theres no such thing in Pits, Dead collectors or Dead treshers, not anything like Bone Terrors
Quote:

This one is quite important for the run, if some1 stands exactly at spawn location of the terrorwebs/bosses, the quest will not complete and the run will fail. so only 2 terra's in plains would be best.
Just want to note you on some little mistakes

Ok I've been wanting to do the UW run for ages now, I can run any terra build thinkable and I'm getting an assassin levelled-up in case one of those is needed as well / instead of. Problem: I've only been through the UW a handful of times, unlike the FoW which I almost know backwards. No one will take on someone who doesn't know the area and has to be hand-held the length of the run. I have the skills, weapons, armor and the willingness to do this run, but the important thing to note is I'm willing to learn the run and each of the roles. For instance if you told me to do the pits or the pools or the vale, I'd just come back with a blank look. I have NO IDEA where anything is in this place but I want to know so I can do this run more often. Is it so hard to find a group that is willing to teach? I can pay for cons or scroll or whatever, but it's utterly pointless for me to attempt a run I know nothing of.
I have tried a couple of times to do the 'smites' area solo by following other's leads with builds and run technique from videos on youtube, and as helpful (and blurry as all hell) as they may be, I can't seem to manage to get out of the starting area. I follow their run to the letter, I seem to have everything just right but I'm lacking something else - experience. This just leads to complete frustration, and I only want to know how to do the UW without feeling like a failure each time I use a scroll or spend 1k.
Can anyone give me any tips at all for how to get to know the UW better? PUG's won't even look at me, and I know a whole lot of others who are in the same boat with me. I want to learn a UW run - how do I start.. who do I talk to.. what do I do?

Alright my mountain speed clear is uploaded to YouTube.
Part 1: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haJmoxouimA
Part 2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q4TZXTjpRWY
For some strange reason I encoded both videos the exact same way but only Part 2 has the high quality option. Strange indeed.
Anyways, I hope these two videos help everyone out tremendously. I'll try to upload other terra areas when I get the opportunity.

Feigned isn't needed if you can avoid the charged by running with dark escape or using IAU. Substitute it with radiation field, unless you don't feel confident in your ability to survive.

I adapted the Chamber mesmer/sin build to my sin using the same skills and Mr. rangerfeminem gave me a hard time about it in ToA today because I had Backfire in the build. Says it means my chamber run isn't fast enough. Funny, how is the build in this thread not good enough?

i don tget why pople still use self heals for moutian pools pits or wastes at all
i stopped suing them months ago same with iau
when this team posted builds it was to put it this way the noob builds for noobs trying to learn but now in toa all i see is this
pro group bneed pros only(in my mind i read this pro failers looking for more pro failers to pro fail)
im sick of poeple failing becuz a they think they know what there doing and b lieing,
when i form group sif pool s as iau and friegned its a kick fi wastes has stoneflesh or a selfheal i kick. its simple as that
the the buidl we frist use it just that the frist builds they have been improved by far now and what poeple dont see is a/e is faster gone over it with poeple , i have a elel i have a sin my times are faster when i use my sin. and it no t just 1 ele run 1 sin run i do 20 runs on elel 20 on sin and every time sin faster
now i do see alot more sins (form my training getting out and what not) looking for pools and moutain and such but then i ask them to ping deadly paradox on a a/e why oh why , then reason a sin is faster is swiftness you dont need paradox
anyways speed clear has came along way from what i hear record was set again to 10 min , and that in my opion is the fastest you will ever get and i dont think 10 min will happen alot 11 is hard enough
